DATAFORDEV is a platform for Online on-demand courses, live online classes, resources, and a community for data professionals working in social impact interventions.
Our Story
DATAFORDEV was born from a burning desire to provide an outstanding learning and networking platform developed specifically for those who work in social and humanitarian impact. While most large course platforms focus their courses on how to use data in solving business challenges like increasing sales, our vision was of creating data analytics courses that are tailored for nonprofits in social development where the language is instead about increasing impact and saving more people from poverty, social inequality, disease and death.
For social impact professionals taking courses from those big platforms, the experience is like learning a new language – they are learning data skills applied to the profit-making business world, and trying to apply them to the impact-making social development and humanitarian world.
